The National Security Education Program (NSEP) provides scholarships for students to study languages abroad in regions critical to U.S. interests. Students who plan to study in Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand are not eligible. Awards are up to $10,000 per semester and in exchange for funding, students must agree to the NSEP service requirement.
